The City of Belleville is constructing a pedestrian walkway from the existing closed asphalt walkway located at the southeast end of Gardiner Street to Cloverleaf Drive.
This walkway will connect the asphalt walkway constructed as part of the Deerfield Subdivision with the existing sidewalk on the South Side of Cloverleaf Drive at Millennium Parkway.
The project will involve the purchase of property along the east side of 151 Cloverleaf Drive, installation of a fence to separate the walkway from the 151 Cloverleaf Drive parking lot, and a new section of asphalt trail from the south end of the 151 Cloverleaf Drive parking lot to a new road crossing across Cloverleaf Drive at Millennium Parkway.
These upgrades will develop a safe pathway from Gardiner Street to the existing sidewalk on Cloverleaf Drive.
