The City of Belleville is developing an action-oriented Destination Development Plan that will proactively guide tourism work in the destination over the next 5 years. The strategy development process will involve widespread community engagement with residents, tourism businesses, partner organizations and other interest groups. Bannikin, an Ontario-based tourism consultancy has been engaged to facilitate this process. The project launched in late-August 2026 and is expected to conclude in late-March 2027.
