Isabel Street (between Bridge Street West and Catharine Street) will be fully reconstructed with new sewers and watermains.

The existing sewer along Isabel Street is a combined sewer (storm and sanitary in the same pipe) and it will be necessary to separate the two by constructing a new storm sewer and replacing the sanitary sewer.


Planned Improvements:

  • Installation of a new storm sewer main and catch basins
  • Replacement of the existing sanitary sewer main and the existing sanitary services
  • Replacement of the existing watermain and the existing water services
  • Complete road reconstruction to an urban standard with new concrete curb and gutter, new concrete sidewalk, and new asphalt road surface
