The City is constructing new sidewalks and infrastructure upgrades along Jamieson Bone Road (from College Street East to University Avenue) and College Street East (from University Avenue to East of Jamieson Bone Road).

These upgrades are designed to improve pedestrian safety, transit access, and local drainage.


Improvements include:

  • New sidewalks along Jamieson Bone Road and College Street East
  • Bus shelters
  • Enhanced culvert and ditch improvements for better surface drainage
  • Roadway Rehabilitation between the railway tracks on College Street East
  • Upgrades to railway level crossings on both College Street East and Jamieson Bone Road


These upgrades will develop safe and efficient transportation networks for cyclists and pedestrians.

    All improvements have been completed except for the upgrades to the railway level crossings. Completion of upgrades to railway level crossings on both College Street East and Jamieson Bone Road are being scheduled with Canadian National Rail.
