South Foster Avenue (Dundas Street East to Keegan parkway) will be reconstructed.

The road condition and underground infrastructure are in such condition that they require reconstruction. In addition, a stormwater management pond needs to be installed to treat stormwater before it enters the Bay of Quinte. This location is a key part of the City's active transportation network.

Planned Improvements:
  • Full road reconstruction with new curb and gutter
  • Replacement of existing storm, sanitary sewers and watermains
  • Installation of new sidewalks or multi-use trail on one side of the street
  • Construction of a stormwater management pond in South Foster Park to treat stormwater before it drains into the Bay of Quinte

These upgrades will ensure safe, reliable municipal water and wastewater services and an efficient transportation system that addresses the needs of our residents and businesses.
