August 2026 - Construction Update

Sanitary Sewer installation between Farley Avenue and the east entrance of Plaza Square has been completed. The contractor is currently completing installation of the temporary potable water system and will be undertaking commissioning activities shortly for this system.

Once the temporary potable water system has been commissioned, work will proceed at the Herchimer and Bridge Street East intersection for the replacement of underground infrastructure, moving toward the east. Crews will work simultaneously from both the east and west limits of construction in order to expedite the project timeline.
