June 2026 Construction Update

Work has commenced at the Farley and Bridge Street East intersection to begin the replacement of sanitary sewer main, moving toward the west. Concurrently with this work, the contractor is laying out the temporary water service piping and will begin connection of those services as well as commissioning over the coming weeks.

Once the temporary water service has been commissioned, work will proceed at the Herchimer and Bridge Street East intersection for the replacement of underground infrastructure, moving toward the east. Crews will work simultaneously from both the east and west limits of construction in order to expedite the project timeline.
