Notice of Public Consultation Centre

The Corporation of the City of Belleville Forest Hill Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades Schedule ‘B’ Class Environmental Assessment
The purpose of this Class EA is to evaluate suitable options to address the aging Forest Hill Sewage Pump Station (SPS) in the City of Belleville. The Class EA will identify a preferred servicing option that will reliably accommodate current sewage flows and any future increase in flows from growth within the sewer use area. The goal of the Class EA is to provide a solution that will benefit the community well into the future.
Public consultation is a key component to this Study. This Public Consultation Centre will be held to identify the existing pump station constraints, as well as potential alternative solutions. The preferred alternative currently being considered involves decommissioning the Sewage Pumping Station entirely and transitioning to a gravity pipe system.
All those interested in the project are invited to attend.
